Urban Art Fair — Paris

April, 2025

In April 2025, Eneri participated in the Urban Art Fair in Paris, one of the leading international fairs dedicated exclusively to contemporary urban art. Since 2016, the fair has brought together artists, galleries, and collectors from around the world, fostering dialogue between different aesthetics, origins, and contexts within the field of urban art.

Her participation took place in collaboration with Kallenbach Gallery, an Amsterdam-based gallery with a strong presence in the international contemporary and urban art scene, representing artists who navigate the boundaries between public space and institutional frameworks.

During the event, two works from her Caótica series were exhibited. The series — previously shown in the United States and France, and soon to be presented in its first solo exhibition in Brazil — explores the re-signification of pejorative terms historically associated with the feminine, transforming language into a site of visual and symbolic dispute.

One of the most memorable moments of the fair was when Martha Cooper, the world-renowned photojournalist known for documenting the history of graffiti and street art since the 1970s, posed in front of Eneri’s works. Her presence and recognition were not only an honor, but also a symbolic source of fuel for the artist to continue creating, occupying spaces, and challenging dominant narratives.
