Originally conceived as “How many stories could this city tell?”, the action was interrupted before the phrase could be completed, leaving only the fragment “How many stor”. In Chinatown, a neighborhood marked by overlapping histories of migration, trade, and transformation, the unfinished text became part of the work itself.
